its lego. fun for all ages. over the years, quality got worse and worse, and finally, lego listened to the complants and suggestions of the people that have been buying the product for years. newer set doesnt have loose legs, printing is more even. whats more, the instructions arent dogeared. they come in plastic bags with a board that keeps them flat.
lego has made lots of collabs over the years. they made toy story, prince of persia, indiana jones, and even batman. this newest edition (but soon to be old, cars 2 legos is coming out) happens to be the pirates of the caribbean series. it came out just in time for the forth movie, on stranger tides.
the sets of legos for the POTC series is from just that. all 4 movies. this particular set is from the second movie, dead man's chest. the scene is from the beginning where jack freaks from the kraken that bootstrap warns him is coming and he heads to shore... .where he and his crew are taken captive by a tribe.
this set's components include, jack in his god-form paint job, the spit where he is to be roasted, the cannibal throne, and even a bone cage ball. fun aspects from the movie itself. this set contains 3 minifigs.
