2 (white) horses, with decorative helmets and horns.
1 King with gold helmet, dark red cape and silver great sword
1 King's knight with whip
2 Dragon soldiers, one with a spear and a fish, one with a two piece axe (head clips on to brown cylinder).
1 spider web and spider.
Note the carriage is very large - the front wheels are taller than the minifigures, and the red and gold flags on top make the carriage taller than the trees included. I liked the decoration on the carriage, two battle axes partially covered by two shields (one on each side).
The base of the carriage is very sturdy, the roof of the carriage opens for easy minifigure placement. The King with his sword can stand in the carriage and still have the roof fit on it.
Play features:
-Hammer attached to one tree, can flick a lever to knock the King's Carriage.
-Ballista mounted to the top of the other tree
-Spider web covers a camping space between two trees.
-Standing space on each tree for minifigure
-Lever on back of carriage to remove chest.
In my opinion, the Kingdoms series really has a lot of nice sets to fit together at reasonable prices. This set is no exception, and I look forward to LEGO continuing this series.
The retail price on this set is shockingly overpriced. I suppose that the reason for this is because of the King minifigure which can only be obtained in two other (more expensive sets) the Joust and the King's Castle. All the other minifigures are pretty common to other Kingdoms sets.
I think this set will delight both adult and child LEGO fans. The carriage and trees are easy but interesting builds. The carriage was surprisingly simple but beautiful. Children will enjoy the playability elements like the flick missiles and the stomping mechanism embedded in the trees.
I picked this set up on clearance well below the retail price and I'm happy with it. However, at it's current price or on reseller prices, this set probably isn't worth it.
