Customer Reviews
This little bagged set from the Lego Kingdoms line features one Lion Knight Archer minifigure - complete with crossbow and quiver - and a small setup with a tree, target, box of spears and a little campfire (with chicken leg!).
Complexity - There are only 31 pieces in this set, so it takes almost no time to assemble. My son built the figure while I set up the target and related gear. We were done in a minute or two.
Playability - Honestly, the target didn't get a second look from my son. I already know it's going to be tossed in the Lego drawer. The archer, on the other hand, has already had some adventures and has been conscripted into the King's army, where he will no doubt achieve great feats of valor against the loathsome Dragon knights.
It's not much, but the Target Practice set is a fun little addition to the Lego Kingdoms line, and it definitely makes a great stocking stuffer/Easter basket kind of gift. It retails for about five bucks, and was occasionally given out as a freebie by Lego. Keep that in mind when pricing this set.
Was a Christmas present, not a holiday present, for my son. He was happy and enjoys putting Lego's together. He's happy, I am happy. Enough said. He would probably give this item all 5's.
