I'm seeing a LOT of price gauging from these 2nd and 3rd party sellers Amazon uses. The battle pack featured retails for $14.95, not the $45 I'm seeing as I write this. I know this for a fact, as I just bought 2 of them at Legoland (SoCal) this week.
As much as I like Amazon, when it comes to LEGO prices, be VERY careful especially if Amazon isn't the actual seller... a lot of those folks are ebayer types with high markups. Cross reference the prices with places like Target, Toys R Us, etc to be sure you aren't getting taken.

It was one of toys my nephew wanted for Christmas. Evan though I spent twice what it cost at Lego, this was the only place I found it. It was worth it to see the look on his face. Evan though I ordered two weeks before Christmas, I got it on time.
