This month (June 2011) Lego.com is giving this away free with the purchase of any $35 set. I ordered Sonic Boom as it seems to be going out of style.
very few pieces on this, i think less the 30. but hey, who can argue with the price

Bought for my 4 yr old who generally loves cars, motorcycles and guns (who doesn't :). He loved the styling but there were other lego car kits he preferred so this one did not remain his favorite. The plastic bag it comes in is a waste and you cannot store the kit back in there. Another complain I have is that the smaller parts of the kit get attached so tightly that it is almost impossible for little fingers to get them apart. Some lego competitors have taken note of that and have designed their smaller parts by making micron changes in the edges to allow prying these apart. Overall a decent buy but better styled lego car kits are available in the same price range.
