My 2.5yo son is a huge fan of Thomas and Duplos. He already had a good collection of Duplos and the little Mega Bloks Thomas engine, and I bought this set so Thomas would have a friend and some tracks to run on. He absolutely loves the crane and Salty, and the whole set is a really fun addition to his Duplo play. Reviews of other of these sets often criticize the durability, and it's true that the tracks and supports don't stay together fantastically well, so elaborate track layouts aren't really an option. This isn't a substitute for a set of wooden tracks or Take-Along sets, but you don't expect Duplos to stay together forever anyway, right? :) I'm going to buy one more set to have a few more track pieces and vehicles. Lots of fun, totally compatible with Duplos, overall a great purchase.

Seems overpriced for $20. Cranky is good but tracks are a pain. The fit is not very tight and such when my 3 year old plays with it, it falls apart and is a little difficult to put together back again.
